Finding senior crew for a superyacht is not a volume exercise. One wrong placement costs time, money, and charter reputation. Freelance Yachting was built on a single principle: present only the candidates we would put our own name behind.
We work exclusively with experienced maritime professionals — officers who have served on vessels from 40 metres to 140 metres, who hold the correct certifications, and whose references we have verified directly. You receive a curated Elite Profile, not a pile of CVs.
Role, vessel size, operational profile, start date, contract type. A five-minute conversation is all we need to understand your requirements precisely.
Within 48 hours, you receive a formatted Elite Profile: anonymised candidate summary, technical specifications, certifications, availability, and direct captain or chief engineer references. No identifying information is shared without your interest being confirmed.
We coordinate the interview, manage communication, and support the onboarding process. Our success-fee model means we are only compensated when you are satisfied.
